I’ve been dying to post about my Japan youth exchange experience and finally here i am… back home for a week break for Chinese New Year. Unfortunately, the urge of blogging has pathetically decrease as to compare with 2 weeks ago..
I guess i still do miss them.. but that’s just another story that I’ll tell in another time. Basically these are the things that i experienced in Nihon..

SUNRISE!!! No doubt Japan is also known as the land of the rising sun because of the uber-awesome sunrise! This was the 1st thing i saw when i woke up at around 6am.. Yong Jun was disturbed from his beauty sleep because i was too noisy mumbling “OMG OMG” while admiring the sunrise..

Immediately on my day of arrival, my impression towards Japan was WOW IT’S BLOODY ADVANCED OVER HERE! I’m not hinting that i live in a jungle or whatsoever but seriously, they are systematic, hi-tech and very VERY clean..
I’ve always underestimated the harshness of winter, obviously because it was my 1st winter overseas but as usual, i was proven badly wrong.. most of the time temperature will dropped to an unbearable state, especially windy days(gosh i hate windy days).. and the heater was my best friend for 3 weeks..

My 1st host family, how should i phrase it.. Lets just say, if you are to be hosted by a Japanese family.. you are considered immensely lucky because they’ll treat you like family x 100… Most of the time, Yoko-san will host me because their kids are still young and her husband is a very busy businessman. So, most of the credits are her’s. I salute her for being such a multi-tasking mom. *respect* Seriously. Nihon-jin are always BUSY!
The schedule they arranged for me was pretty hectic, despite only a week, it felt so looooong (not the boring type though) I was fatigue constantly, maybe it was the weather? the food? There was the parks, museums, castle, lions meeting just to name a few..
Which I’ll slowly post them up… stay tune bah..
It’s finally the weekends!!!!!
1st week of college is over with tonnes of homeworks and catching ups. The lecturers are assuming us to be the know-it-all species.. which is a huge disadvantage to me
Yet, everything is so far so good.. i hope to update some stuff and pictures about japan but it seems a bit hard with my current situation.. anyway I’ll try.. (doesn’t mean i will )
I’m missing them* enormously….. T.T
* It’s literally referring to my home bed, fams (T.T) , friends and sitiawan water!!! My place water taste like S**T, bloody chlorinated.. I’ll probably get poisoned because of it.. shall steal water from 2bro and college in the near future…
(2Bro is being super nice and concerning lately.. all i can say is… TQ!!!! i love it..)
Now that it’s the beginning of the rest of my life (thinking skills lecturer said so, btw, she has a really good sense of humour) i guess… i really must or maybe am starting to appreciate the things and people around me… hmm.. (yalah, I’ve been doing some “mature” thinking lately)
Last night i came back home around 3am… thank goodness i didn’t wake up my landlady( she’s a nice lady) and didn’t overslept today.. hehe
it was fun hanging out like that, thanks ya
I’ve been sitting here (the Web) for quite some time already and my fingers are starting to freeze.. The Web is something like an internet cafe for the Taylors students to go online..
Shall bring my headphones and watch some youtubes some other time.. (everyone is doing that)
See you guys during the Chinese New Years!!!!!!!! Adieu ..
That’s just the name of my theme, since i have no title in mind. It’s 2am now, i guess i’m having one of those sleepless night again. 24 hours ago, i was still packing my stuffs, preparing to come home, it’s good to be back. However, the maid just have to screw it up for me. She was too clever that she cleaned EVERYTHING IN MY ROOM! One thing very particular about me is i hate people who rampage my room. I couldn’t find my things and that was undeniable exasperating. Yup, I’m was throwing tantrums…
Maybe it was the lack of rest and headaches, or maybe i was already missing Kumamoto. The past 3 weeks has been nothing but fun, and it wouldn’t be meaningful without my 3 host families (Shigemitsu’s , Takano’s and Tsuge’s). Through this youth programme, I’ve acquired new families and friends which i will definitely keep in touch with them. Needless to say, the experience was wonderful. I shall elaborate it some other time. (it will be damn loooooooong)
Another year had passed huh? How fast time passes, i remembered vividly last year around this time Ruth and I promise to be SBWs (i wonder if she still remembers??) 2008, what should i say about you? You’ve been hectic all year long, you made me study hard for once without any last minutes. So many things have changed in a year time, some people found new friends, some broke up with their boy/girl friend, and some even gain/lose their BFFs (sighs). Moreover, it also seems too surreal that tomorrow we, the batch of 08′ need not to wake up insanely early to prepare for school anymore.
*I love to procrastinate and blabber when it comes to writting my blog. So, leave if i’m starting to bore you.
Was 2008 a blast to me??? hmmm, not really.. SPM was a big rock on my shoulder. However, going Japan was the ultimate blast of the year! I truly love it there!!!!!!!!! (T.T) (missing them)
ps: START SAVING MONEY!!.. you know who you are
As for 2009, i’m sick of writting new year resolutions, hopes and whatsoever nonsence. i’ve never bother to accomplish them anyway. Instead, i’ll just go with the flow for now, whatever comes, comes, whatever goes, goes. (lame =.=” i know) This year ain’t gonna be easy, so buckle up guys for another hectic and interesting year!
Totally drunk in: Aoyama Teruma- Soba ni Iru ne
