Running for our lives..

Yea… so i ran cross country run in Pantai Remis this morning.. My morning fresh air was contaminated by the incomplete combustion of the bus..(carbon monoxide) which suffocated me the whole journey of 45 minutes.. As i was enjoying the scenery of greens.. it devastated me to witnessed the massive amounts of deforestation.. I gazed outside the window while indulging in my multipurpose phone (W810) …. which played my favourite songs…… many years ago….

It made me think a lot about form 1 and 2… Qi Li Xiang (song by Jay Chow) reminded me the memories when i was a band member.. a junior.. the days whereby you are taken care by the seniors.. the exhilarating moments we had.. yea.. i miss them.. this very song.. i remembered vividly..

*tears syed swiftly away from my eyes.. (nah.. i was just bullshitting)

Finally we reached Dato Idris school.. did some warm ups.. Immediately it was our turn to run.. the sun was scorching hot.. As usual anxiety was bugging me.. in my heart (who cares la… this is a sure lose competition.. just have your normal jog k? )

Bang!! that marks the start of our race.. Guess what??.. i was last at the beginning.. (just keep a constant speed) i kept murmuring to myself.. Meanwhile, the Kampung scenery was boring great! gosh i love greens! we ran in a palm oil estate (thank goodness) that provides us shade..(it saved my skin complexion).. But yet the fresh air was still contaminated by bull dungs, rubbish stench and dirty puddles.. Due to the lack of determination to run, i was mainly admiring the village’s lifestyles and cute St John’s boys.. There’s one fat ass Rela uncle kept pushing me to run faster (go die la) he was riding a motorcycle!!

Middle of the race…I was stupefy when an under 15 Indian girl overtake me.. (shoosh u!).. and she was running barefooted!!! i was like, wearing Nike running shoes ~!@#$%^&* Then, I really lost my sense of direction.. even though i know the distance is 6 km but i seriously cant estimate when to speed when to not..no strategy… (1st time lah.. nvm).. Only the last 500m i was to be informed.. regardless my soring blistering legs, i used up my every ounce of strength to speed for the finishing point.

Approximately 40 minutes later……
TADA!!! waiting for me is the finishing line was a St. John girl.. she gave me a bottle of superlicious hydrogen hydroxide.. HA!!

So, that’s how i completed my 1st 6km cross country run.. Indeed it was a fantastic morning jog.. i got real sweaty.. haha.. besides, i maneged to overtake lots of participants (obviously) even manage to win Kalai which i lost to her during mini marathon by 2 meters..

Finally, i was rewarded a can of 100 plus by Mdm. Teresa before our journey back….. ahhh~ what a good taste of satisfaction…
