The place where ppl call the city of entertainment.. Been there too many times till i couldn’t count.. but this time is was different.. i was solo.. without siblings and friends.. boy it differs for all the previous times..I went there during August break with dad, mum and their friends la.. Both of my bros are having their examination so they’re banned to follow… kakaka..
Okay la.. i did have some company from my two cousins from Sabah -”The Land Below The Wind” they got offered some job in Putrajaya.. they were so enthralled with Cds, clothes… till i was so bored and ended up walking by myself.. So much from the City of Entertainment huh? Later that night i decided to catch a movie from the one and only cineplex in 1st world.. But ended up watching Tv in the hotel eating left over pizzas.. damn pathetic la… but one thing i wont deny.. the view is totally breath taking.. i can even see KLCC from my window (seriously!) and i’m not refering the KLCC in 1st world fyi..
The View is form Tower I, 15th Floor.. u hav to pay additional cash if u wana hav a room with this kinda view…=.=” anyway it’s worth it..
Anyway, the only thing i noticed had changed was they changed the coca-cola thingy to Mr. Energizer???!?!? Since when??!?
Ahh~~ i always loves the morning breeze from the mountains.. the air smells damn fresh… We had dim sums for breakfast…haiz.. i dun understand why my dad loves eating dim sums.. pork pork pork..(nowander he looks like one..)
After b’fast was the best part of the trip… i actually entered Casino de Genting.. haha it seams i succeeded in camouflaging my appearance to a mature looking gal…(AHEM) and one thing i know is my mum’s a terrible gambler.. she totally suck at it.. i get to play some silly slot machines.. it feel like I’m in an adult arcade center.. the system goes the same..u put money to play… but u MAY get more money in return… haha… Cameras r banned in casinos (now i know) so i din get any footage of the place.. but i’ll nver go in there until i turn 18…cause i cant accept the humiliation of getting chased out because i’m under age… if i ever get caught.. blek…=P

Mother nature was good to us yesterday… She didn’t cry.. (thanks goodness)… It was finally Thursday, the only day I get to play my fav. sport.. -Tennis… It had been 2 weeks since our last lesson.. Mr.Lee only gives us one lesson per week which is inadequate.. =(
Anyway, we were early.. i just decide to take some snap shots for fun… Hmm.. why do i find tennis fun?? i dunno la.. i just fell in love with tennis ever since I’m learning it.. so thats how i know the existence of French open, Wimbledon Cup, Us open.. etc…
Dying of obsessions, I bought this racquet with my own savings… So I treat it as my baby.. nobody else touches it!!!! It’d been loyal and useful to me for the past 4 months.. But yet, i suck at this sport big time.. if u see me play.. guarantee you’ll lol.. My service is even worse than a *****… (that’s very pathetic right?) Enough of me now..
As i was saying, we were early.. so we’re there to see the earlier class playing tennis.. They were mainly in their primaries(kids la =.=).. As i watched them play.. it makes me wonder… does Ruth and Pearly used to play like them???? If yes.. they must’ve been extremely cute and funny! hahahahhahahha.. Anyway, if u notice the pic carefully, most of the kids (all) are using good racket.. i mean like.. really good racket.. head la, wilson la.. damn richies man!!!.. i remember Ruth told me before she used to use a RM19.90 Rakan Muda racket… which reminds me of this world today…
Children are very lucky nowadays…

As a young teenager that walks into secondary life no doubt it was a big change in EVERYTHING!!.. But life in band was joyful.. Being a junior was a good thing.. we’re well taken care by seniors and our only dream was to be able to walk or rather run in formations and participant in competitions like them… As i watch this vid (thanks shanjie) it always reminds me of how young and naive once we we’re… But now.. all the familiar faces are gone… all that’s left is only memories..

My best year… Did u ever get the change of traveling the a foreign country with ur friends and teachers??? well.. i did.. it was a great privilege to get this opportunity since i was still a junior at that time.. Or the time when my seniors gave me a surprise birthday cake on my B’day~~ band camp- i remember vividly my Section leader bring us out for yam cha while of the others r watching band vids.. The time we all sat in front of band room talking some eerie ghost stories 2 IN THE MORNING!!! ahhh~~ those were the good old times.. I’ll always cherish the time we’ve spent together, when we shared our thoughts and feelings when we’re in Spain. Times where all of us are well-tanned or rather burnt charcoal! I missed all the good laughs we had during practice, the tears we shed and times we packed our instrument and uniforms together before going outstations…
That year, we were 1st runners up in the national finals, Penang..

Senior year… this was practically the most disastrous year… the whole year was a very crappy year to me.. All my seniors had left me.. the feeling was different now… going practice was a big waste of time.. what had happen??!?? where did all the enthusiasm for band went????!? It was lost.. and it struck me.. band was meaningless to me… the only good memories i had was during national day parade in Kuching last year… whereby i got to know a few juniors.. they’re very cute in personality… haha.. they were the ones who made my laughs and smiles..

The present.. ntg to elaborate… ntg to say… all had change.. the custom is not time same.. everything is different, in heart and thoughs.. there is no enthusiams…nor the heart to strive… i dunno what to do… i dunno wat they’ll do.. but pls dun harm this band.. a once well known and flabbergasting band… now everything is ruin.. the attitude has change.. who knows wat will happen… if this continues…. only one word can describe.. S.U.C.K.S…
All that I can say is.. Happy 30th Birthday, Nan Hwa Band….. may the legend continues..
